Ecoparque El Castaño is a plot project located on a foothill mountain ridge between 500 and 800 metres above sea level, with beautiful panoramic views and just 32 km southeast of Curicó, Maule Region.

The flora includes roble oak, coigüe, cypress, quillay, boldo, arrayán, copihue, coile, rosehip and maqui, among others. Wildlife includes the culpeo fox, pudú, lesser grison, rabbits, eagles, condors and wood pigeons.
To meet the goal of preserving the environment and achieving healthy community life, every owner will be required to join the Bio-space Protection Community, signing protocols on waste management, wastewater, building types and socio-environmental conduct.

Two kilometres from the project, in the Potrero Grande area, there is a police station, a health post, two supermarkets, a church and a school. Nearby attractions include Parque Inglés (Siete Tazas), La Invernada, Parque Buchen and the Zapallar hacienda.
