Hello, my name is Claudia. I was born in the last century and have been living in Chile since 2009.
When I first came to Chile, I was simply looking for a three-month break from my work in Switzerland and the opportunity to learn Spanish. I never imagined that, at the far southern end of South America, I would find the loves of my life — in a place that would feel more like home than anywhere else.
Just a few days were enough — traveling along rural roads, gazing at snow-covered volcanoes, and experiencing the warmth of the people in the south — to understand something profound: Chile would not be just a destination, but the place where I would build my life project.
The Los Lagos Region — with its wild forests, crystal-clear lakes, green meadows, local culture, and the powerful presence of volcanoes — became the perfect setting for a life rooted in nature, tranquility, and human connection. There I learned Spanish, built friendships, fell in love with rural life, and horses found their way into my life, becoming an essential part of it.

From an adventurous Swiss woman to a companion for new beginnings
Over time, I realized something very valuable: what was for me a personal process of learning and growth — arriving, adapting, understanding a new culture, and finding a place to call home — can become a true labyrinth for many foreigners, filled with questions, unfamiliar procedures, and complex decisions.
For this reason, I decided to transform my personal experience into a service, with the goal of accompanying, guiding, and supporting people who come to Chile — offering them clarity, confidence, and security throughout their process.
Today, I especially support foreigners who are considering emigrating or who wish to explore new life opportunities in southern Chile, particularly in the Los Lagos Region and Northern Patagonia. My work is born from the combination of human sensitivity and practical local knowledge, creating a real bridge between the more structured and planned European lifestyle and the Chilean way of life, which is more flexible, spontaneous, and improvised.
More than a service, I offer guidance, trust, and a safe experience for those who wish to begin a new chapter of life in one of the most authentic and beautiful places in Chile.
What makes me unique?
1. Chile through experience — not theory
I know Chile through lived experience, almost like an “adopted Chilean.” I do not speak from books or theory, but from real life: from arriving without knowing anyone to understanding everyday life and the local rhythm. I have traveled through many corners of southern Chile — and those I have not yet discovered, I will explore in the future. This lived experience allows me to guide others with empathy, clarity, and confidence.
2. Languages and a true understanding of cultural shock
As a Swiss native, I speak Swiss German, High German, English, Spanish, and French (a bit rusty). This allows me to connect easily with people from different countries and cultures. I also deeply understand what migration means: the fears, expectations, uncertainty, and emotional process involved in starting over in another country.
3. Passion for horses and authentic experiences
My great passion lies in horses and in connection with nature. For this reason, I offer workshops and experiences such as healing work, therapeutic approaches, gentle horse training (Doma Racional), conscious connection with horses, as well as walks on Pichi Juan Hill, one of the most beautiful places in the Los Lagos Region. These activities allow visitors and newcomers to experience southern Chile from a different perspective — that of rural hill life among volcanoes, silence, and authenticity.
