Villarrica National Park: This park is located in the provinces of Cautín (Araucanía Region) and Valdivia (Los Ríos Region), 12 km southwest of Pucón. Its objective is the conservation of diverse species of fauna and flora, and it offers activities such as skiing, hiking and camping. The distance from Temuco to Villarrica National Park is about 112 km.
Conguillío National Park: It is in Araucanía, 148 km northeast of Temuco. It stands out for its Llaima volcano, its volcanic lakes and lagoons, and its ancient forests, many of them virgin. From Temuco it is about 109 km to the park.
Malalcahuello National Reserve: This reserve is located in the Araucanía Region, in the municipalities of Lonquimay and Curacautín and close to our Aldea Centinela Commercial Sites project. It stands out for its conservation of various species of fauna and flora, and offers activities such as hiking; Malalcahuello National Reserve is located 127 km from Temuco.
Corralco Ski Resort: Located in the Malalcahuello-Nalcas National Reserve, 120 km from Temuco and 37 km from Curacautín, in the Araucanía Region, Chile, it is a mountain resort on the southeastern slope of the Lonquimay volcano at 1450 meters above sea level. It has more than 1,775 hectares of skiable domain, 32 slopes and 8 lifts to enjoy the longest winter season in Chile. It offers ski or snowboard lessons with world-class certified instructors and has ski and snowboard equipment for all levels
Pucón: This city is located in the province of Cautín, in the Araucanía Region, 100 km southeast of Temuco. It is known as the “Adventure Tourism Capital of Chile” and offers a wide range of outdoor activities, from hiking and skiing to rafting and mountaineering.

The best time to visit Temuco is between spring and autumn, when the weather is pleasant and there is less rainfall. The city has a wide range of accommodation, from hotels and hostels to cabins and campsites. To get around the city, you can use public transportation, cabs or bicycles. Don’t forget to try the local cuisine, which includes dishes such as curanto, asado de cordero and mote con huesillos. Learn some basic words in Mapudungun, the language of the Mapuche people.
